Key Responsibilities
- Administer cutting-edge endocrinology care through comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of patients.
- Oversee mid-level providers including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, ensuring quality care for adults.
- Commit to regularly scheduled clinic hours and actively engage with patients.
- Collaborate with medical education institutions in enriching clinical training programs.
- Drive innovations in clinical quality assurance and develop diagnostic and treatment protocols.
- Engage in patient education material development and review, tailoring content for clarity and impact.
- Champion interdisciplinary planning for future clinical operations.
- Participate actively in provider recruitment, retention, and overall clinical staff enhancement.
- Contribute to research initiatives, providing expertise from planning to data analysis and publication.
- Adhere to and promote the Performance Improvement Program, striving for continuous enhancement in service delivery.
- Educate and advise patients on health, illness prevention, and ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible in Endocrinology.
- Medical Doctor with current Texas licensure.
- Active DEA license.
- BLS (CPR & AED) Certification.
- Ability to meet Legacy Community Health’s EPIC proficiency standards.
- Participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and other required health plans.
